Miguel is Senior Director of Diversity and Inclusion Strategy for the Minnesota Twins. Since joining the Twins in 2008, he has leveraged his wealth of multicultural marketing experience to develop more culturally diverse programming, integration and stronger relations with diverse communities. Prior to the Minnesota Twins, Miguel worked at Nestle before leading his own consulting firm with clients in the professional sport industry, corporations and nonprofit organizations. A native of Puerto Rico, Miguel knows first-hand the knowledge and perspective that diverse groups bring to the table when they are included and engaged.
Miguel is a tireless community champion. He has served on Gov. Arne Carlson's Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee, the board of Greater Twin Cities United Way, the Science Museum of Minnesota and Casa de Esperanza. Miguel has been recognized by Mpls. St. Paul Magazine as one of the 100 to Watch and received the Diversity Business Award from Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
