Pete is a member of Securian's executive leadership team and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2025 with leadership over Finance, Accounting, Planning and Analysis, Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury, Procurement and Internal Audit. As CFO, Pete is responsible for establishing, implementing and mainlining the financial plans and policies of Securian Financial — setting fiscal controls, preparing and interpreting financial reports and safeguarding the company’s assets. Pete also has executive oversight of our Canadian insurance business, serving as chair of the Board of Directors of Securian Canada.
