Julie Ring has dedicated her career to public service, with 30 years of experience in program management, public policy, advocacy, and executive leadership. Appointed Executive Director of the Association of Minnesota Counties in 2013, Julie previously served as a policy analyst and lobbyist for the organization. Julie has also worked in Minnesota state government and in county government in rural South Dakota. She has a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from the University of Minnesota-Morris and a certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
