The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation announced that Rhonda Cox has been promoted to the position of Vice President of People and Culture.
The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation today announced that Rhonda Cox has been promoted to the position of Vice President of People and Culture. Rhonda previously served as the Foundation’s Associate Vice President of Human Resources, a position she held since February of 2021. She joined the Foundation in 2017.
“In my new role, I will be a part of the Executive Leadership team and will focus on ensuring that we maintain a people first culture with our strategic initiatives,” said Rhonda.
During her tenure, Rhonda has taken an active listening approach when instituting new policies and practices and has also prioritized a healthy work and life balance for staff. Rhonda also played a critical role in creating an inclusive culture, changing how we define family to include chosen individuals for access to benefits such as paid family medical leave and bereavement.
Additionally, she worked to incorporate floating holidays so that people can celebrate days that are personally meaningful; she also reevaluated the Foundation’s recruiting process – broadening the places we post positions and evenly weighing the importance of degrees with lived and work experience.
“As the Foundation strives to maintain a strong and empowering culture for all we do, this new role recognizes Rhonda Cox’s leadership and contribution towards this central value," said Eric J. Jolly, Ph.D., president & CEO of the Foundation.
