The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation is excited to announce the 2025 Minnesota Community IDEAS Grant Program grant recipients.
In its first year we awarded a total of $1.6 million to 15 nonprofit organizations located in and serving Minnesota and the 11 Native Nations that share its geography. Each organization will receive a total award of $160,000, paid over the course of three years, with five recipients selected from each of three target communities: Native-led and Native-serving organizations, Greater Minnesota and the Twin Cities 7-county metro area.
This statewide grant program was informed by and developed alongside community members, and final award decisions were made by community selection committees who assessed organizations based on impact, development, equity, agency and solutions.
“The organizations selected for the 2025 Minnesota Community IDEAS grants are powerful examples of how local leadership and bold ideas can create lasting change,” said Senior Director of Partnerships Kari Onyancha. “Through the IDEAS program, we are proud to invest in solutions that are rooted in community voice and built for long-term impact.”
