Celebrate this billion dollar milestone by getting to know two of our nonprofit partners.
The Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundation, along with our partners, have given over $1 billion in grants since our inception in 1940. Today, we steward nearly $1.6 billion in charitable assets to invest in community-led solutions.
At the community level, the difference a grant can make is demonstrated by the good work of hundreds of nonprofit organizations. Two of those — The Sanneh Foundation and Neighborhood House — are featured in this video celebrating our billion-dollar milestone.
“The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation was instrumental in funding and supporting The Sanneh Foundation during our early stages,” said Tony Sanneh, Founder & CEO. ”And they continue to guide us in having the impact on our community and the next generation of leaders.”
In 2018, the Foundation supported Neighborhood House’s new social enterprise coffee shop, Beaningful. The breakfast and lunch shop in downtown Saint Paul provides paid work experience in a learning environment for Neighborhood House participants seeking to join the workforce.
We would like to celebrate this billion dollar milestone by thanking Minnesota’s generous donors, our partners and community organizations. Together, we are helping to transform communities across the state for generations to come.
