Expansion at Osborn 370 will strengthen statewide engagement, expand opportunities for collaboration and offer a new destination for community.

In November of 2026, we are expanding our home at 370 Wabasha Street North, where we have been headquartered since 2024. This reinforces our long-term commitment to the state's capital city and positions us for continued growth and greater statewide impact.

The Foundation will relocate its offices to the 18th floor of Osborn370 at 370 Wabasha Street North in November 2026, followed by the opening of a dedicated convening and community space on the 17th floor in 2027.

The expansion represents another milestone in the Foundation's investment in downtown Saint Paul including the commitment of up to $15 million to support downtown redevelopment, recognizing the capital city's importance to Minnesota's economic vitality and future competitiveness.

"Our decision to expand is an investment in our future, in the people and partnerships that drive our work, and in the continued revitalization of downtown Saint Paul," said Chanda Smith Baker, President & CEO of the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation. "We believe a strong capital city is essential to a strong Minnesota. As one of the state's leading philanthropic institutions, we have an opportunity and a responsibility to invest in that future, not only through our financial commitments, but through our presence, our partnerships and how we bring people together."

Designed to support the Foundation's evolving business and operating needs, the new headquarters will feature enhanced technology and flexible meeting environments. The dedicated 17th-floor space will serve as a place to welcome community members, nonprofit partners, our board of directors and fundholders from across Minnesota.

"We are creating a place that reflects both the scale of our work and our ambitions for the future," Smith Baker added. "A place where relationships are strengthened, ideas become action and people from across Minnesota come together to shape what comes next. We want our headquarters to reflect the kind of institution we are building: welcoming, connected, innovative and deeply invested in Minnesota's future."

The expansion comes during a period of organizational momentum with the launching of new strategic initiatives and growing opportunities to connect philanthropic capital with community priorities across Minnesota. The Foundation's expanded presence is an investment in the future of the organization, in the people and partnerships that drive our work and in the continued revitalization of downtown Saint Paul.

Beginning in November, the Foundation's address will be 370 Wabasha Street North, Suite 1800, Saint Paul, MN 55102. Phone numbers and email addresses will remain unchanged.

“We believe a strong capital city is essential to a strong Minnesota.”
