attorney Jacy Grais uses her role as a volunteer to inspire others to give.

Inspired by her grandmother, mother, father and the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Saint Paul native Jacy Grais has used her background in law to ignite a career as an organizer, activist and philanthropist helping others.

Judaism shapes every aspect of Jacy Grais’ life, from the way she identifies to the organizations she represents as a community volunteer.

“Organizations that I have chosen to get involved with have, really at their core, an acknowledgment that we are part of a community, and we must take care of one another and we must give voice to the voiceless and promote dialog and discussion and reach out and build and sustain relationships.”

Watch this thoughtful and fun interview to learn how this Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation board member’s love of philanthropy guides her mission to make our state a place where all residents old and new can thrive.
