The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation launches our strategic plan for the next five years. Watch our video to see our aspiration, purpose and key strategies.

We are excited to launch the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation's 2025-2029 strategic plan.

Our previous strategic plan guided us over the last five years, through a time of unprecedented change where we strengthened our organization, forged innovative partnerships and responded to needs and opportunities. Now, we are ready for the next chapter.

A Powerful Vision

As we turn our attention to the future, our aspiration remains: We envision an equitable, just and vibrant Minnesota where all communities and people thrive.

Over the next five years we will work to achieve this aspiration by living out our purpose, which is to inspire, advocate and invest to advance community visions.

A Brighter Future for Minnesota

Our Key Strategies

All our efforts will be guided by three key strategies:

Hand holding a dove

Invest in Community-led Solutions

Two hands shaking

Advocate for Equity

Hands holding a cartoon heart

Inspire Generosity

What transforms a strategic plan from words on paper to an instrument of change are people united by a shared purpose and a belief in what is possible. While we have much work to do, with the community as our compass, each day we are moving closer to a better future for our state.

Thank you to the staff, board members, nonprofit partners and donors who make our work — and tomorrow’s vibrant Minnesota — possible.
