Power of Possible - Press Kit

SAINT PAUL, MINN. — July 1, 2026 — The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation today launched Power of Possible, a statewide initiative built on a north star belief that the solutions Minnesota needs are already being built by Minnesotans. The initiative surfaces stories of community-led action across all 87 counties and invites every Minnesotan to see what their neighbors have been doing—and join them.

“Even as we hold our differences, we care about the same things. That our families are well. That we can pay our bills, afford food and gas, and make a life that we've dreamed of for ourselves, our children, and our neighborhoods,” said President and CEO Chanda Smith Baker. “Dreaming of a better future alone can be scary. The Power of Possible is an invitation to dream together, and to be inspired by the work of others.”

In 2025 alone, the Foundation and its fundholders directed more than $128 million to 3,550 organizations across the state. Behind every grant, gift and act of generosity is a belief that change is possible. This belief is at the heart of the Power of Possible campaign.

“Our role is not to have all the answers,” said Smith Baker. “It’s to be in community where the answers sit.”
