Grantmaking Across Minnesota: The Power of Collective Generosity
The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation grants more than $39 million to communities across the state so far in 2026.
SAINT PAUL, Minn. — July 7, 2026 — The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation announced that it has awarded more than $39 million in funding to support communities across Minnesota.
Through donor advised funds, Foundation-led grantmaking and grantmaking from our foundation partners F. R. Bigelow Foundation and Mardag Foundation, we’ve been able to strengthen organizations, advance innovative solutions and help communities thrive in meaningful ways.
More impact by the numbers so far this year:
🔹$29.3M — given from our donor advised fundholders to support the causes they care about
🔹$5.1M — awarded to organizations across the state through grant programs from the Foundation and our partners
🔹$5.4M — invested in Minnesota-based businesses and nonprofits through our recently launched Future Ready and Momentum Minnesota portfolios
Each grant and investment may serve a different purpose, but together they tell a story of possibility unfolding across Minnesota, driven by the vision, resilience and leadership already present in our communities.
