As a member of the Marketing and Communications team, Michelle Van Engen (she/her) develops digital strategies and content to advance the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation’s reach and impact. She enjoys blending creativity and data to create engaging online experiences. Michelle joined the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation in 2019.

Her prior nonprofit experience includes digital marketing and communications work at CaringBridge and Catholic Charities Twin Cities. She was most recently at SFM Mutual Insurance. Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of Saint Benedict and completed her Master's in Nonprofit Management from Hamline University in 2020. In her free time, Michelle serves on the board of Our Streets and enjoys reading, volunteering and biking, as well as spending time with her partner David, cat Mikko and dog Momo.
