Maggie Yarosh
Grants Administration Lead
As Grants Administration Lead, Maggie Yarosh is responsible for leading the Grants Administration team as well as processing grants and optimizing the Foundation’s grantmaking expertise and documentation. After years of focusing on international development work, Maggie is excited to now engage with her local Minnesotan communities and to see the impact that the Foundation can foster. Her experience includes seven years of nonprofit and grants management, working with both local and international communities around the world. She has researched the complex barriers and constraints that hinder the advancement and growth of local communities around the world, allowing her to effectively understand the needs of local communities. Maggie has also enjoyed grants administration in her previous role, closely working with grantees and enhancing collaborative partnerships with small businesses to achieve sustainable success.
Maggie’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Sociology and International studies, as well as a master’s degree in Public Administration. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her niece. She has been to over 30 countries and looks forward to traveling to many more. Maggie loves scuba diving with her friends around the world, including Aruba and Belize. She also has one rambunctious dog, Goober, who she loves to spend time with every day.
