Bethany Israelson, Finance & Accounting Manager, leverages her financial expertise and social sector passion at the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation. Previously, her work at Future Focused Solutions and EdAllies honed her ability to see the big picture – how strong finances fuel mission-driven endeavors. Bethany thrives on maximizing organizational impact, making the Foundation’s commitment to community, mission, and its people a perfect fit for her values.

Beyond her bachelor’s in Child Psychology and master’s in Special Education, Bethany brings over 10 years of experience in the social sector. This background grants her a unique understanding of both the direct and administrative sides of non-profit work.

Outside of the office, Bethany immerses herself in the local community, whether exploring farmers markets, enjoying long walks at Wood Lake Park Reserve, or seeking out new coffee shops and restaurants. A dedicated traveler, she also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
